My talk will explore the concept of black life as defined by Fred Moten, Alexander Weheliye, Saidiye Hartman and others with an aim to create a bridge toward the acts of neurodiversity that populate experience. Following from my proposition in The Minor Gesture that neurotypicality might be conceived as a first identity politics - the ground from which knowledge defines itself as knowledge - I will explore the ways in which neurodiversity and black life threaten what it means to know.
